Vallarta's Pride is one of the most important in the country due to its extended resident population belonging to the LGBT community and the also huge team of outside visitors during this week, making it extremely relevant.
This will be the ninth year of Parade from May 23rd to the 30th and there will be so many events that you will not grasp where to initiate. An important happening will take place previous to the official start of Pride, on May 17th we'll contain the March for the World against Homophobia starting at 7 pm at the Sheraton hotel and it proposes to create understanding on the street yet to be followed in the matter of rights towards the community.

Vallarta Pride arises from the initiative to create an Association that promotes and defends equality for the LGBTQ+ society being much more than an exciting event full of enjoyable and entertainment, as it includes cultural and artistic events, motion picture festivals, sports, fashion shows and much more to celebrate the amazing diversity, promoting at all times, to feel proud of our nature.
Accompanied by an remarkable Pride parade that runs through the main streets of the city, showing the creativity of different companies and individuals that under an annual theme, adorn their vehicles and dress in the colors of the rainbow. This annual event has placed Puerto Vallarta in the spotlight as one of the main places in the world to observe LGBTQ+ Pride.
